Founded in 2001, Solstice Consulting is a Chicago-based, mobile technology consulting firm focused on helping enterprises embrace mobility in the context of their legacy environments.  We tackle enterprise mobility holistically: from sound strategy and enterprise architecture services, to intuitive app design, development and testing services. Solstice positions itself 12-18 months ahead of the enterprise mobile technology adoption curve; researching and testing new products and technologies through our mobile app development studio, Bottega Sol. In this quickly evolving market, this research allows Solstice to provide the knowledge and expertise to help organizations make the right decisions and build the best solutions.

Solstice’s main competitive advantage has always been its people. Solstice sponsors local MeetUps across different areas of technology, allowing us to find and recruit the most passionate technologists in the Chicagoland area. Our consultants then turn around and share their passion and knowledge through social media channels. Every senior consultant on staff has an active blog, providing the Chicagoland IT community with a steady stream of mobile education and knowledge.

Solstice also embraces better and faster ways of developing products through our Agile Scrum delivery process. We also teach our clients on how to use the process as well.

Finally, Solstice has demonstrated its product development expertise by launching it's own product development studio, Bottega Sol (bottegasol.com). Bottega Sol is currently producing a series of Mobile as a Service (MaaS) products, allowing small and medium size business to leverage the mobile channel in the same capacity that larger enterprise can.
